A unique art style and an unforgettable soundtrack are what make this game just as captivating in 2025 as it was when it first launched. I spent countless hours playing it on the PS2, and it remains one of my all-time favorite games. I'm sure it holds a special place in many people's childhood memories as well.
This game deserves a proper comeback, complete with peer-to-peer multiplayer and split-screen support—the latter being a feature that was once exclusive to consoles.
Edit:
Dear Good Old Games Team,
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) is the only title in the series that inspired EA to recreate the iconic 2005 BMW M3 GTR in collaboration with BMW for a special throwback event. Even in the franchise's more recent entry, Need for Speed Unbound, the developers included numerous Most Wanted references, including the return of its legendary antagonist, Razor.
That alone shows how beloved this game remains among fans. Please help bring this classic back and preserve it for a new generation—with multiplayer support included.
